It all started with a Mouse...

My name is Molly and, if I'm lucky, this is the start of a very long blog. It's February 26, 2010 and if all goes well, I will have successfully earned my ears by Fall of 2011 for the Walt Disney World College Program. My hope is that this first post is the beginning of many -- and it is my goal that I can help future potential CPers with the same aspirations.

I'm starting this blog early for a number of reasons. For starters, I seem to be a bit of an insomniac and have nothing better to do with my time. But mainly I just want to be able to log every thing I possibly can. I want to be a thorough as possible! So for now the updates will not be frequent. But I'm looking forward to what the future holds, etc etc.

So here's what you need to know about me.

• I am Molly, I am 18 years old, and I am a freshman at Hofstra University on Long Island, NY.
• I heard about the Disney CP from a friend in September of my freshman year, and have been determined to Earn My Ears from that day forward.
• I have started many blogs before and always end up forgetting to maintain them. My biggest goal (well, second-biggest; my biggest goal is to get accepted) is to maintain this blog from beginning to end so as to help others who are in my situation.
• I am currently a Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology major, but am unsure if it will stay that way. If you enjoy good foreshadowing, keep this in mind. I'm likely to switch majors about a zillion times and it'll be interesting to see where I end up...
• I love Disney more than I can express. The company, the films, the parks, and everything Disney stands for. I wish I could describe how I feel about Disney without sounding like a total cheeseball. However, I can't, so you'll just have to take my word for it. :)
